PROJECT DELIVERY

Veretec’s approach to the detail drawings and documentation produced during the post-planning stages of the plan of work provides our clients with an efficient, cost-effective, risk-managed production design information delivery service. 

Our aim is to achieve a fully integrated delivery of projects respecting the requirements of both client and original design team, maintaining the quality intent of the original concept design whilst meeting the dictates of the contract obligations. 

Veretec’s experience with Design & Build contracts and working with main contractors has helped develop a strong ‘project win’ ethos.  Our aim is for projects to achieve a win-win situation where both our contractual client (the Design & Build main contractor) and project employer are satisfied. 

We do this by working hard to avoid the normal Employers Requirements vs. Contractors Proposals conflicts where either there is not an understanding of the original intent, or Employers Requirements/ Contractors Proposals are open to interpretation. 

Correctly structured Design & Build contracts should still achieve and maintain the quality of the original concept design.  Design & Build does not have to mean poor quality design.

The importance of the concept design cannot be underplayed and just because a project goes a design & build route does not mean that design quality should suffer.  We work very hard at developing a strong relationship with the concept architects to develop trust and allow all parties to bring their respective skills to optimum effect in delivering successful projects.
